Photo: March of the Barrel Cacti

The Desert Botanical Garden Plant Sale features, not surprisingly, lots of desert plants.  Here is a sample of the barrel cacti waiting for throngs of shoppers to pick their favorite ones.

We added a few barrel cacti to the several dozen that we already have in our yard.  They grow very well under trees that shelter them from the full sun.

This week we are showing photos of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia  on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

So many choices among cacti that all appear to look the same.

A lovely shot. I always like to see cacti barreling along the desert floor! :-)
