Photo: Sedona balloon flight; Lift-off

There were four balloons from the same company on our Sedona hot air balloon flight.  This is a view from our balloon looking down on the last balloon that was just taking off from our take off site.

Balloon flights require logistical support.  When we arrived a crew was setting up the balloons.  They later formed the chase team to meet us where we landed, which varies depending on the direction of the wind.  And of course they needed to bring champagne to the landing site.

This week we are showing photos of the colors of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

The ballon flight was fun. I look forward to re-living it in your upcoming posts.

The champagne would be important. Don't lose the balloon.

What a beautiful view. But I'm afraid I'll never to be able to go up in a hot-air balloon! Okay, so call me a sissy!

With best regards,
Sissy
