Photo: Cactus Flower

Here is a closer photo of one of the cactus flowers that I showed yesterday.  I find everything about them fascinating and beautiful.  Their size, color, and internal architecture.  And, of course, the hummingbirds and butterflies love them.

The Desert Botanical Garden has publications and will tell people which plants to select to attract hummingbirds and butterflies.  We and Rita and Tim have both taken advantage of that advice in planting our yards.

We are showing photos of the menthol blue waters at the bottom of the Grand Canyon on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

You mentioned hummingbirds and butterflies. Bees and, at night, bats love cactus flowers also.
