Photo: ASU Solar Panels

Here is a photo of my alma mater, Arizona State University, and its Activity Center.  Sun Devil Stadium is on the top left and you can see Tempe Town Lake in the background.

ASU has gone solar!  It is a major developer and use of solar energy resources.  There are solar panels covering the roof of the Activity Center, and more solar panels providing shade for parking lots in the background of the photo.

What a cool photo. I did not get the opportunity to take this photo but kudos to the photographer.

This week we have photos of the architecture of ancient Cambodia posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.

ASU has a huge solar farm on it's west side campus. I tried to photograph it once but, from ground level it just doesn't work. From the air like this would be much better.

Places like ASu are leading the way in creating a market for solar energy.
