Photo: Canadian Geese at Sunset

Here is a photo I took at sunset at Scottsdale's Indian Bend Wash.

Can you see the Canadian Geese?

We have quite a few and they can be a bit mean at times.

We are part of the migration path. And, many geese come and stay at Indian Bend Wash.

We have new photos posted on our Viva la Voyage travel photo site.   This week we are showing Angkor Wat and some of the nearby temples of the Khmer civilization in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

When this photo is enlarged it is nice to see the light from the sunset reflecting off the chests of the geese.

Beautiful light and colours indeed!

It's amazing how many Canadian geese live in and around the valley. I don't think they are winter visitors any more.

Thank you for this blog. I grew up in Mesa and now live in Atlantic Canada (talk about a culture shock, eh?) and it is very nice to get a little daily dose of home.

Canada Geese are named after John Canada. So who knows if they are Canadian or not. But, it is a nice photo.
