Here is another view of one of the fish on the wall near Scottsdale Fashion Square, which is the largest shopping mall in Arizona.
Behind the scales of the fish the wall is made of glass block. I took this photo in the morning so there would be sun on the fish and wall. In the late afternoon, the light shines through the glass block to brighten the inside of the fish.
I will have to return sometime to show the afternoon effect.

I have driven by these fish hundreds of times, and I never noticed the glass block on the inside of the fish. I will need to slow down to admire these even more, or else wait for your photo to show this view in the late afternoon.
Never noticed the glass blocks either... So nice.
