Photo: Queenswreath Flower and Vine

Here is a photo of the Queens Wreath vine and flowers in our side yard.

We are so glad that the flowers and vines have been growing despite the intense heat we have had in Arizona this long hot summer.

We have one long part of our side yard wall that is all queens wreath flowers.

Check out our travel photos of the magical lands of the Atacama desert in Chile at Viva La Voyage!

Is that the same as bougainvillea Julie, if so I know here in Perth it thrives on hot, dry weather. Such a beautiful hardy plant to have in the garden.

Perth,
These are different than bougainvillia. In Arizona this past August was the hottest month on record, ever. The plants are ready for cooler weather, as are Arizonans.

A completely unfamiliar flower. But, pretty.
