Photo: Multiple Saguaro Cactus Blooms

Here is the top of a tall Saguaro cactus loaded with cactus buds.

The cactus spines look like needles or spiky hair.

The flowers are quite pretty.

It is difficult to get photos of saguaro blooms because they are at the top of the cactus, which is usually too high to reach to photograph, and they don't seem to bloom until they are tall.

I have thought at times of taking a ladder out to climb and get saguaro bloom photos. I don't know where or how you got this photo.

Outstanding, Julie. This is an education for an easterner like me.

Dave is so right. It's always hard to get such a picture.
