Photo: Golf Course with Pink Flowers

We are yearning for cooler weather so we can get back outdoors to hike, sit, and for some, golf.

This is a photo of a golf course at the Phoenician, which is near my house.

During the summer months, we all stay inside with air conditioning, but we are all anxious to get back outside. Some people have long cold winter months to endure, we have bright sunny summer days but we can't go out in that heat.

Check out our travel photos of world famous Villa de Este in Italy at Viva La Voyage!

I remember in 1952, in a house where I stayed with friends, the stones in front were so hot you couldn't step on them in the summertime. The cactus didn't look great either but endured it all.

Actually, Julie, I beg to differ. We do enjoy outdoor activities in the summer -- when we go over to the beach in California or up to the cooler, high country of Arizona.

I love the perspective of this photo.

What a gorgeous course. It is hard to think of it as devoid of people in the summer.

Great photo.
Maybe I share a bit of our cold in the exchange to your heat?

This is such a beautiful golf course. I've not played it but would love to.
