Photo: Navajo Nation License

Here is a photo of the Navajo Nation license plate.

Navajo Nation consists of over 26,000 square miles covering parts of Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.

It is the largest tribal lands in America. The Navajo Nation was established by treaty on June 1, 1868.

Navajo Nation in Navajo is Naabeeho Binahasdzo.

Very instructive post. The Navajo Nation Arizona license plates shows a scene from Monument Valley. Monument Valley is in both Arizona and Utah. Arizona politicians sometimes get in good natured trouble if the use photos in their advertisements that show a scene from the Utah part of Monument Valley.

One relatively trivial matter is that the Navajo Nation goes on Daylight Savings Time, which the rest of Arizona does not. It is now on a different time than the rest of the state.

I remember going through the Monuments Valley (Arizona)and realizing that the Navajo Nation was on Daylight Savings. What a beautiful, rugged, unique place.
