Photo: Border Fence

Here is a close-up photo of the border fence between the United States and Mexico. The fence goes on for hundreds and hundreds of miles.

We drove to the border fence while in Southern Arizona.

You are generally not allowed to park near the fence and we did talk to the border patrol to ask if we could take photos along the fence and they allowed us to do so.

Today is Sunday so that means new travel photos. Check out photos of Dubrovnik on the Dalmation Coast at Viva la Voyage!

You might mention that as we walked towards the fence, there were Border Patrol vehicles converging on us from several directions. They not only monitor the area by camera, they had Border Patrol vehicles hiding out in the bushes ready to drive up and confront anyone they deemed suspicious.

The fence looks great, but I prefer border without fences...

I'm not certain this has really improved the value of the real estate.

Your photo is nice, the fence isn't.

Hmmm...you are a rather suspicious looking pair --- NOT! :)
Wonderful photo of a shameful object. I'm not sure what the right solution is but this surely cannot be it.

I'm off to see Dubrovnik on your travel blog. I've never made it that farther south than Split in Hrvatska. One of these days...

I would prefer this wall to be part of the past and to be a tourist destination like the great wall of China or the one of Germany...
