Here is a photo of the sign across the Salt River.The sign is for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
Arizona has 22 Indian tribes and right across the Salt River from Mesa and Scottsdale is the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
This tribe has been very successful and its current President is Diane Enos, a law school class mate of mine from many years ago. She is bright, committed, and thoughtful.
