Photos: Quail Eggs at Dark

Here is a macro photo of three of the Gambel Quail eggs that I took at dusk.

Quail eggs are usually kept together on the ground in a small dug shallow hole.

Quail eggs are spotted so I find them quite interesting.

The eggs look like they are ready for a calm, peaceful night. They need an adult quail to keep them warm for the oncoming night.
