Photo: Delicate Bird Nest

Here is a photo of a bird nest.

The nest is made of tiny wood branches, wood pieces, and even mud at the bottom.

This nest blew out of a 30 foot date palm tree. I picked it up and it had no birds in it. I took it home to photograph.

Today is Sunday so that means new travel photos so check out the style of Denmark at Viva la Voyage!

I guess the birds who built their home in a spot where it could blow out of a tree learned the same thing we know about the selection of a place for a home: Location. Location. Location.

Delicate and beautiful.

I wonder if it served its purpose and was abandoned or if some bird lost his home when the wind started to blow.

Birds nests are always hard work. The little bird spends so much love and care building the nest. This one looks amazing.

Amazing little builders, those birds. It's a work of art.

You are right, Raven is a great spot. Always something going on there and good food. I think I posted about it a long time back.
