Here is a couple of calacas (skeletons) driving in their red convertible.
I have lots of background and history on the special celebration of Day of the Dead if you click the Dia de los Muertos label.
Check out the beautiful red rock of Sedona at Viva la Voyage!

Day of the Dead is almost here! Is it the 1st or the 2nd. Never can remember that. These reminders are meaningful to those who practice but not to many others who have different cultural values. Great images, Julie.
LONG MESSAGE: I'm quite frustrated; cannot access my email account, comment on any blogs that don't allow anonymous visitors, nor access my Visual St. Paul blog. Lost all my addresses. Fortunately I had scheduled posts 'til mid-November sometime (but can't add to them with an explanation) because of surgery. Don't have time to start a new email account nor blog, but I'll be back. If you care to contact me in the meantime, I can be reached with another acct., tho: myhearthandhome@gmail.com

Really cool!
Haha...that's funny.
It's great! We are in Poland very serious on the Day of the Dead. The holiday is very solemn, so it is nice to see, that it can be also funny.
This looks like a fun couple!
So funny couple.
