Photo: Peach Faced Lovebirds

Here is a photo of a group of peach-faced lovebirds hanging in the tree at sunset.

They are so loud.

They are also very colorful and like to chew on nuts and mesquite beans.

One of the birds is looking right at us while the others are turning away in a shy and timid mode.

Check out the gorgeous photos of Villa Monastero in Varenna, Italy at Viva la Voyage!

This photo is worth enlarging so you can get a look at those tiny faces. I love these birds even if they are a bit loud. I haven't seen the ones that come to my yard in about two weeks.

What beauties! I love all kinds of birds. These colorful ones are certainly something different for me.

Oh they are gorgeous! We have quite a lot of small green parrots here, but nothing as nice as these.

These guys are great! They remind me when I was little, my grand mother used to have two of them.

They look as if they're blushing.
