Photo: Phoenix from Camelback Mountain

Here is a photo of Phoenix taken from Camelback Mountain at dusk over a gold course towards South Mountain.

The lights on the buildings and streets are just beginning to turn on.

The Phoenix metropolitan area is the lowest density big city in the United States.

Beautiful shot. I'm going to have go up that trail with you sometime. Maybe when it's cooler.

Wow, absolutely beautiful! Nice to know we aren't dense after all. :-)

In the center of the photo you can see the lights of the Tovrea castle, also known as the "wedding cake house," which Sharon featured on her Phoenix Daily Photo site a month or two ago.

I think the heavily lighted large building on the left of the photo is the long term parking garage for Sky Harbor Airport.

Lots of elements to this, golf course, city, beautiful mountains, lights, etc. makes for an interesting photo.
