Two Lovebird Parrots

Look at who showed up in my backyard yesterday.

It was hard to believe but I had four peach-faced lovebird parrots in my backyard walking on the ground playing with sticks, eating seeds and flowers and making that loud bird noise.

I can hear the lovebirds sound from anywhere in the house, but they are not always easy to spot in the trees. They have very good eyes and camouflage very well.

We have the most superb wild animal photos on our travel site at Viva la Voyage! Photos from Tanzania, Africa that you will not want to miss seeing.

They're wonderful. I can't imagine anything so greenly colorful in our yard.

Oh my! They are so cute. Who needs a TV when you have a show like that going on in your yard!

Excellent capture. I've had these little guys in my yard before, but have never been able to catch them on camera.

These guys are so colorful. They must feel very secure in your yard to be on the ground like that.
