Emu Bush

Here is a macro of a flower on an Emu bush.

Emu bushes are also called Valentine bushes. They bloom in February each year.

From far away, they just look like a mass of red color, but nothing fancy.

When you get close and take a macro photo, you see these fabulous details and tiny tendrils shooting forth from the flower.

You will not want to miss our travel photos of Wild Animals of Tanzania, Africa at Viva la Voyage! These animal photos are truly superb.

The macro photo looks amazing -- I like macro photos very much.

This looks so delicate and graceful...like the extended hand of a ballet dancer.

Delicate is the word that comes to mind.

It looks as though it's sticking it's tongue out.

Interesting. When I saw the title, I thought it had something to do with the big flightless birds in Australia.
