Papago Park at Sunset

Here is a photo of Papago Park at Sunset.

You can see the houses below and all the green trees.

I am very grateful to see a mix of mountains and trees.

I took this photo while hiking on Camelback Mountain.

Check out awesome thirty-year-old iridescent claim photos from Aitutaki at Viva la Voyage!

The light is breathtaking, the view unbelievably beautiful. It is almost like the skin of a strange, exotic fruit. Amazing shot, Julie.

This is a great view of the Arcadia neighborhood looking south from Camelback Mountain towards the Papago Buttes. The neighborhood has irrigation rights from the Salt River Project canals, and it used to be a citrus grove.

The neighborhood is certainly green. If one did not know better, one would not think that this iphoto was taken in the Arizona desert.

Great shot yesterday of the Gila Woodpecker. I love how the Papago Mountains just seem to rise up out out of the desert floor. This is a super night photo.
