Flower Bud on Mexican Fencepost

Look at the colors on this flower bud growing from a Mexican Fencepost Cactus.

These flower buds have such iridescent colors.

The flower that opens up is very tiny and not anywhere as pretty as the bud before the flower opens.

These buds fall to the ground and grow into new cacti.

Check out travel photos of the Grandeur of Venice at Viva la Voyage!

Cactus is fascinating - and this bud is particularly beautifull.

Another great macro show that shows us the detailed architecture and beauty of mother nature that we might otherwise overlook.
