We went hiking last weekend and I thought this was a nice image of the rocks and shapes on the mountain.
Growing up in Arizona, I really like the looks of the desert and various geological formations.
I am always looking at rocks when I hike. Often I carry some of the interesting rocks home and put them in my yard.
Check out the stunning travel photos of the unique Uxmal Pyramids in Mexico at Viva la Voyage!

The rocks tell such a long, deep history of our planet. You are a good listener, Julie.
They look rugged from this angle.
Sometimes the landscape of the Lebanese mountains reminds me of the American West. We don't have such lovely reds though, at least not that I've seen so far . . .
The cave looks interesting to explore, but watch for snakes!
Stunning. When I see your amazing red rock photos I'm reminded of Zion Park in Utah. There's something astounded about a desert landscape and I've always been in love with it.
I can see why you never tire of where you live.
The colours are wonderful!
