Cactus Fabric

You might have a hard time guessing what this photo is.

It is a close-up macro photo of a cactus in my backyard. This part of the cactus has spread out instead of staying in a round cylinder shape.

I like the subtle ripples of the green flesh of the cactus.

I am having fun sharing macro photos with you this week. I hope you are enjoying them.

Check out the stunning travel photos of the unique Uxmal Pyramids in Mexico at Viva la Voyage!

Very interesting. It looks like a green table cloth!

A tablecloth without spines which give this cactus a friendly look!

I notice the plasticity (right word?) in the Cactus Fabric. Very interesting effect.
