Theme day: Passageway

Here is a photo of a passageway through the boulders on a hike in northern Scottsdale.

I love passageways like this. It is great to walk through and be surprised at what you see on the other side.

Yes!! This is a perfect passageway. It's wonderful to walk through places like this. You can't tell how close to a huge city you are.

Julie, I'm anxious to see your photos from Tanzania. I have a great love for Africa's flora. In fact, many of my plants are African. I grow them all from seed. Some need to be dropped in boiling water to break down the hard seed casing; while others, like Proteas, require treatment in a smoke tent. No wonder my neighbors think that I am a witch-doctor.

About your last comment - Julie, you are far too kind!
I can guarantee you one thing: you know far more about photography than I do. I'm very glad that you enjoy my blog - but I really don't think it's about the photography as such. It's has more to do with frame of mind than any technical ability on my part. Seriously.

We don't have boulders here in Florida. Sigh. I can just imagine how it makes you feel to walk through there.
