Scottsdale Arts Festival

The annual Scottsdale Arts Festival starts today and runs through March 14, 2010.

The outdoor arts festival has over 200 jury selected artists.

This photo is of a stunning ceramic black bowl with autumn leaves weaved into the top. Very unique.

The Scottsdale Arts Festival is one of the top art festivals in the United States.

I assumed they were some sort of pepper rather than autumn leaves. Fascinating.

Stunning indeed - the texture and the color is so beautiful. Love your POV on this one too. Do you know who the artist is? Would love to get a link to her/his work.

J-I'm trying to figure out the perspective on this one. Is it shot into the opening or has the bowl been tipped upside down? The colours are great!

There seem to be spring arts festivals all over the place. We have one in October. I enjoy them immensely. And this is a very unique piece you've photographed!

It's lovely Julie! I didn't realize it was a bowl until I read your post. I like the colors.

I love attending art festivals. Mostly I love seeing the clever ideas and pieces of art that are put together...like the one in your photo.
