Red Points

Here is a macro of one of my favorite cactus.

The red points really stand out against the green flesh of the cactus.

As you know, I love macro shots.

There is something special about taking a photo of a small portion of a plant or item and seeing how wonderful it can appear in the abstract.

Today is Sunday, so we have new photos on our travel photo site. Check out the photos of Portugal on Viva la Voyage!

Wow! Great shot! So sharp and full of great colors and shapes!

Maybe the red color is to help warn you by making the thorns more noticeable.

An other lovely cactus shot. I wonder: have you ever checked to determine the variety and number of cacti in your locale?

Great shot Julie. I love the red of those thorns and you can really see just how sharp they are.
