Camelback Mountain, Clouds and Blue Sky

This is a photo taken from by backyard looking up at this gorgeous sky.

I was amazed to see these fluffy white clouds lazily drifting in the brilliant blue sky over Camelback Mountain.

I ran and grabbed my camera before the scene disappeared. It looks like a painting.

Enjoy and have a great day!

Now THAT'S a Southwest sky! Reminds me of the Georgia O'Keeffe cloud painting that hangs in theArt Institute of Chicago.

When I saw "camel" and "cloud", it reminds me:

Hamlet: Do you see that cloud, that's almost in shape like a camel?
Polonius: By the mass, and 't is like a camel, indeed.
Hamlet: Methinks, it is like a weasel.
Polonius: It is backed like a weasel.
Hamlet: Or, like a whale?
Polonius: Very like a whale.

What a welcome change to the gray skies we've had here since last Tuesday!

You are fortunate to be able to have a view like this on a daily basis. Great sky and great shot Julie.

For the last couple of days the city is under a massive dust cloud coming over from Africa, leaving nearly the whole day the sky totally in white - what a joy to see your blue.

Please have you all a wonderful Sunday.
p.s.: took me about half an hour to be able to leave a comment, maybe due to the thick dust in our skies.

A lovely sky with white fluffly clouds - if you look closely, you can see pictures in them.
Cheers.

Beautiful view. From my backyard, I normally get a glimpse of my neighbor working in his garden with his britches halfway fallen off.
