Saguaro Cactus and Moon

I like the angle of this close-up of a Saguaro Cactus with the moon far away in the sky.

The colors of the cactus spines are almost amber with the soft light late in the day.

Given the number of desert and cactus photos I post, I think I like those images much better than the buildings in Scottsdale. We do have interesting architectural buildings and resorts so I will try to show some of those as well.

Check out the Xcaret photos on our travel site at Viva la Voyage!

I like seeing it all. Because your world is so very different from mine, I'm interested in the many facets of it. I love your nature photos, I love your artsy photos, and I love your architectural photos. Just keep them coming.

The color contrast is striking.

I love close-ups of cactus. I like to see the thorns clear and sharp!

I love this angle. A very original photo of something that must be quite mundane in Arizona!

Nice photo with the moon in the background. Papago Rock yesterday was really neat. the people looked like little specks. Gives a perspective of the size.

A wonderful Thursday for you all.

Very nice composition. I like the color, but can't help think it would look better and evoke a feeling of the Old West if it were in black and white. It could be a poster for an old John Wayne western.
