I woke up and saw this overcast, stormy mood over Camelback Mountain. This is the view from my bedroom when I look into the backyard.
It is rare to see clouds lying on the mountain like you see in this photo.
Surprisingly, this cloud cover did not last long and tomorrow I will show you how this same scene looked just a few short hours later with a nice view of the mountain.

What a peaceful view!
This is a rare view for our area, but it's fun to see whenever we catch it.
So beautiful.
You must have chosen this photo so that the people up north and back east would not feel too bad about their cold and snow, rather than one of your typical photos of the boring, sunny, warm weather in Scottsdale/Phoenix.
The cloud cover looks very much like fog, which always impresses me with its air of mystery!
Looks just like I remember the Midwest to be.
I just love this rare view of Camelback Mountain. Breathtaking!
I really like that kind of view. Took one similar across our canyon with the fog disappating and the avocado hill to the south of us.
Thanks for the view
Louis
Seems as if even clouds do have to rest for a while, walking.
Please have a wonderful Tuesday.
This is very pretty. That mountain looks different all the.

Great, dreamlike image!
Hello,
I remember viewing this mountain sometime in the 60's. My grandparents lived in Paradise Valley, and I could see the mountain from their home. It left a real impression. I really enjoyed Arizona.
