Lake Powell and Wahweap

The enormous and majestic mountains at Lake Powell.

The boat skimming away from the mountain shows the size and scale of the area.

Lake Powell and Wahweap Marina is a great place to play in the water, whether it be on a boat, jet ski or merely swimming.

The strata and color of the rocks and mountains provides dramatic and scenic views.

Lake Powell certainly is a contrast to the dry cliffs. I'm always amazed by so much water in the desert. Yet I'd like to see the dam go for the sake of the Colorado River.

When you see cliffs like this it's mind boggling and so beautiful.

It looks like a great place to vacation. I wouldn't mind boating and skiing there.

What colossal size, Julie. It's hard to imagine such scale.

We live on an amazing planet, and you do a terrific job capturing that.

The arid aspect of the land confronted by the beauty and freshness of the lake makes for a very nice composition!
God bless you!
