Graveyards and Churches Evoke Eeriness at Halloween

The dark cloudy sky at dusk creates an eery Halloween ambience at the churches and graveyard at San Xavier del Bac in Tucson, Arizona.

Wait for nightfall for the ghosts and goblins to come out! Happy Halloween!

Nice evening shot!
The church reminds me of Greek churches.

I would love to hear those bells ring. I would imagine the sound travels a long way. They look as if the wind could start them swinging and ringing, but perhaps that's an illusion.

Excellent shot! «Louis» really likes the composition - the contrast of the bell towers against the sky.

All you would need is a raven sitting there to complete the picture.
This really came out good Julie.

Wow Julie, this is stunning! I don't think it's eerie though!

The bells are just waiting for "Igor". Another photo to remind us of Halloween. Very nice.

I keep waiting for a ghost to float or or perhaps a vampire to jump out of the shadow. Very nice spooky shot!
