Gilbert Ortega

Everyone who visits Old Town Scottsdale loves to visit the Gilbert Ortega stores, which are like mini-museums.

Gilbert Ortega stores have an immense inventory of Native American jewelry from silver concho belts to turquoise squash blossom necklaces, Navajo rugs, Hopi kachinas, and more.

There are several Gilbert Ortega stores in Old Town Scottsdale. Look at the fancy red cars in front of this particular store.

Those red cars pop out of this photo. I love to look at the jewelry displayed at Ortega's, but I haven't been in quite a while. It might be time to pop in for a peek sometime soon.

When you need a gift for someone that screams "I came from Arizona" Gilbert Ortega is a place where you can be sure to find it. I have purchased Native American items there to give to people oversea.

But I also like to drive out to the Native lands in Arizona and buy art directly from the artists, but there is not always time to do that.

Perfect place for me though my banker might disagree. I agree with Dave though, I would prefer to get the jewellery directly from the artists.

Oh, that could be a dangerous place for the average tourist. I'll have one of those, and one of those, and one of those............
