Here is a Kestrel Falcon, which is another bird of prey. The coloring on these birds is so beautiful.
This Falcon is being rehabilitated at Liberty Wildlife, which is a rescue center for true wildlife.

What a beautiful shot. Thanks for the drapery update. I have a friend who rehabilitates birds of prey in his house and his barn. His children are named Kestrel and Cooper after hawks. They are fabulous kids, not the least bit predatory.
il est mignon, je le trouve craquant.
it is cute, I think it is irresistible.
I met today kestrel. Kestrel was chasing two pigeons. I don't know why.
Well -- I've send some of my photos from Thursday to photobucket. Here is a kestrel:

Olivier said it best...this one is just so cute.
I've been catching up your blog and have really enjoyed the last posts, specially the pink Opuntia!
Julie, one of the CDP bloggers is missing! Please visit my page. Thank you.
I see these in my backyard quite often, looking for the little birds that frequent the fountain. I agree, the coloring is beautiful.
So lovely and beautiful !! Colors are great..Unseen Rajasthan
His feathers look like velvet. Great shot.
Beautiful photo. I've not seen one close up. We did see one hovering over the beach by the lakefront in Chicago - they actually hover like a helicopter.
Gorgeous creatures. So many of us never get the chance to see one up close.
What a picture, it really shows the real beauty of these birds of prey. They have a hawk that flies round Trafalgar square ( in central London) to keep away the pigeons. I would have loved to see this Falcon up close.
