Beautiful Lines of Jokake Inn

I like the architectural lines of Jokake Inn.

The bird is standing guard and thinks it is his territory. I like the details of the hand plastered walls.

The Inn was built in the 1930s and is located on the grounds of the Phoenician Resort and Spa in Scottsdale.

Euklid once wrote that if two lines cross each other, they will construct a 'right angle'.
Guess many times animals, just like your bird, are more aware of rightness than we are.

I saw this shot and it reminded me of the Citadel which is a business park at the corner of Pinnacle Peak and Pima Road in Scottsdale. The construction of that business park was my very first job. Geez that was a long time ago...
