The grounds here are always stunning! They do take very special care.
I've always wondered why The Phoenician bills itself as a Scottsdale resort when it is actually located within the Phoenix city limits.

Your comment could stir up a controversy between Phoenix and Scottsdale. The Phoenician is right on the edge of Phoenix, right next to the boundary between Phoenix and Scottsdale. It has a Scottsdale mailing address and identifies itself as being in Scottsdale.
This makes one wonder, if the marketing people at the resort felt that it would be better for the resort's image to identify itself as being in Scottsdale rather than Phoenix, why did they name the resort the "Phoenecian."
What I need are some of those landscapers! Do they travel?
