I am surprised that you were able to take this photo. Usually you are a bee magnet. I guess this bee was too content to be concentrating on the flower and did not notice that you were around and available to buzz and torment.
That is a terrific shot...as you say, it's hard to get a good bee photo. I tried for an hour the other day, chasing a bee around a bush and never did get a keeper.
I tried to take a pic of bee at the park today. The bee seemed to be interested when I showed it my glass full of soda, yet refused to be photograph :). How did you manage to capture such a wonderful photo?
Sorry, seeing this picture I couldn't resist a little Shakespeare.
Where the bee sucks, there suck I: In a cowslip's bell I lie; There I couch when owls do cry. On the bat's back I do fly After summer merrily: Merrily, merrily, shall I live now, Under the blossom that hangs on the bough.

Thats a wonderful shot, Julie!
Happy Easter to you and your loved ones.
Fabulous shot, Julie. I enlarged this to get a closer view of the wings. They are simply awesome.
Stunning shot Julie! He looks like he's sitting on cotton balls!
Indeed a very successful shot, which provides a sweet taste of spring - thank you.

Yes, spring has come. Even running a bee flowers. People should be happy. Greetings.
Great shot Julie. I can see him smiling.
Great shot, we can see the smile!
He looks like a very happy bee. And what a beautiful flower for him to land on.
Happy Easter! I think I took probably 100 photos of bees last year, and not one shot was clear!
