It looks like a path of spheres in the desert leading you and inviting you to walk along to explore what nature and artists have to offer.This is another Chihuly: The Nature of Glass installation at the Desert Botanical Garden. This is part of the the "Float Boat" glass art exhibit. The glass spheres are so colorful and each one is distinctive.

I like the way you shot this one. This is one of my favorite pieces at the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens.
Never get tired of Chihuly! Recently on the beach here I met a woman from Seattle, and we had a good conversation about the man and his work. He is so well-known, and justly so. Thanks for your series on the exhibit.

Yes, it looks lilke a giant Easter egg hunt! Chihuly certainly gets around. We have his huge glass flowers in our museum lobby. I did a post last summer I think.

I agree with Brattcat. I think if you follow this trail of eggs you will find a group of rainbow colored, polka dotted, dragons frolicking around.

What I like about Chihuly is watching the process of creation. I would love to visit his studio, I would consider it the opportunity of a lifetime. Great post just before Easter.

The spheres are gorgeous by themselves, but placed in the desert and surrounded by succulents look even more fantastic!
I would seriously love to see this exhibition, it looks so incredibly interesting and so very different to the climate and plants we have here. I love these glass spheres!

This is a fascinating exhibit and thank you for bringing it to us. The spheres and the succulents are so incongruous . . . I would never have thought of putting them together . . . but then that is why I am the audience.
