Desert Water Feature

The grounds of the Scottsdale Fairmont Resort and Spa has many picturesque spots to enjoy.

This photo shows this wonderful rushing water feature.  This desert water feature is very loud with the sound of running water.  I like the pretty pink geraniums that framed the waterfall.

The water feature is located at the end of the grand entrance lined with date palms, which was yesterday's photo.   It is also very eye-catching at night with the lights.

elle est superbe cette fontaine, surtout en l'imaginant en plein désert.
it is superb this fountain, especially by imagining it in full desert.

To me the sound of running water is very soothing. Your photo is also one of reflection and thinking..a great environment for both.

I remember there were some very fine resorts in the "good ol' days." I can imagine this would be a beautiful place to spend a few days.

I enjoyed your description of ordering and imbibing the Green Fairy. I din't know they had started producing it again. I remember that it was considered very dangerous in the long run. I don't tolerate alcohol wellso one of those and I would be spittle.

The fountain looks so enticing, especially when one considers the heat. Yum.
