The White Mystical Arabian Horse

This white horse with its long flowing white mane looks magical.  It looks like to came right out of a storybook.

This horse is competing in the Arabian Hunter Pleasure Championship at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show at Westworld.  This horse did not win, but it was pretty to look at as it reminded me of a unicorn.

I have tickets to see the Cavalia show at the end of this week and I am very excited to see it.  The show was created by the cofounder of Cirque du Soleil whose name is Normand Latourelle, and is set up in very large white circus tents.  I imagine it will have many of these white mystical Arabian horses with acrobatics and spectacular visual effects.  I will hopefully be able to post photos from Cavalia next week.

Arabians are a beautiful breed. My daughter has an Arab mare she uses on the ranch. That little horse is cow savvy.

Thanks for visiting my blog---you have a very beautiful and informative blog. MB

I don't know much about horses, but that is a beautiful animal. Nice picture of a moving object, I know that is not an easy thing to capture.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Our movie day actually went quicker than I expected - maybe because I enjoyed all the films so much.
Great blog! I'm going to make some time to check out your old posts.

I agree, this little horse is a pretty one. Now I am excited to see the pictures from Cavalia! We went with Sharon the last time they were in town and it was spectacular. People who know horses will better understand how amazing it is to see the horses do the things they do on that stage. The most magnificent of the horses in Cavalia are the Lusitano-Andalusian breed. There are some Arabian as well as some American Quarter Horses, plus Belgians and Percherons. If you are a horse lover like me, you will love this show. It is a haunting performance.

You mentioned the flowing white mane, but the flowing white tail is quite a sight.

Nothing prettier than an Arabian all dressed up in Show Tack.

Been there and done that.

All the horses you've shown are amazingly beautiful and your photos of the event are great. It's must be hard to get good photos with everyone moving about all the time. The young girl is so cute in this photo. (PS glad you liked the donkeys - they really were so sweet.)

You have some very nice photos of the Scottsdale events. I was in the Phoenix area for about 9 months back in 95/96 and enjoyed the mild winter. Saw some of Scottsdale as well the surrounding area.
