Photo: Octopus Pink Flower

Here is a photo of a wonderful flower that blooms in my desert backyard.

The flower has many thin fuscia petals and looks like an octopus.

    It seems a little incongruous to identify this flower as coming from your desert backyard, as this looks like a tropical flower. Our backyard contains both desert and tropical plants.
