Photo: Sliver of Moon Over Camelback Mountain

Here is a photo of a sliver of moon rising over Camelback Mountain just after dusk.

I liked the brilliant blue and the silhouette of the mountain.

I had to stand atop a ladder to get this photo.

Today is Sunday, which means new travel photos. Check out the stunning Papeete, Tahiti in French Polynesia at Viva la Voyage!

  2. You climbed a ladder to take a photo of the agave blossoms in the front yard, and climbed a ladder to get the best vantage point to take a photo of Camelback Mountain and the moon from the back yard.

I climb ladders around the house to change light bulbs or hang art up high. Maybe that's why I have never climbed a ladder to take a photo.

  6. «Louis», having done so himself, is glad you didn't fall off the ladder. A fine shot, Julie.

  7. Some photographers will risk life and limb to get the shot. You must be one of them! But, hey, it was worth it! Another delicious and delightful photograph!
