Here is a photo of the border fence at Naco.

This is the border between Mexico and Arizona.

The drone I showed you yesterday flies over a large perimeter of this area.

Look at the large industrial lights on the left that are along the border patrol road that runs the length of the fence.

Do you know what this is?

Here is a photo of a drone intelligence that floats over the area near the border between Arizona and Mexico.

This spy device looks like a mini hot air ballon or blimp but it obviously has a different shape and is much smaller.

Here is a photo of St. Joseph's Hospital.

I took it from our office building from the 24th floor.

This hospital has been in Phoenix for decades. You can see the green low density buildings straight out to the mountains.

We are so glad to see that the very bad freeze we experienced this winter here in the desert did not kill all of the lovebirds.

The Peach-faced lovebirds had been thriving here in the Valley of the Sun, but the recent winter freeze was very devastating to animals and tropical birds. We do not know how many survived.

That is a statue if a Chief in the middle of the grass above the pool.

One of the first cacti to bloom in my backyard during Spring is the pincushion cactus.

It always is nice to see this ring of pink flowers on this tiny cactus. How does it bloom in a ring? bizarre.

The recent storm caused clouds to hang on the top of Camelback Mountain.

It looks like a fire or volcano but it is actually clouds at dusk during the rainstorm.

I have not seen this effect before.

We played with a light to get this bright barrel cactus to show in the foreground and capture the beautiful colors of the sunset in the background.

Playing with light means opening your shutter for a longer period of time while you shine a flashlight on the dark item in the foreground. Voila!

This photo shows a miniature sunflowers and there is a visitor eating the petals.

Is it possible the bug from yesterday is the culprit? I do not know.

This photo is a very close-up macro of a bug on the sunflower that you saw yesterday.

While I was taking yesterday's photo, I saw some slight movement and then was very surprised to see this tiny bug.

Dave of Costa Rica Daily Photo did not like this photo of a bug. He is not too keen on seeing bugs this close.

We truly had a great time photographing the plants and insects while staying at Casa San Pedro Bed and Breakfast.

Theme Day: Favorite Part of Town

Here is a photo of one of my favorite spots in town: Sunsets in the desert looking towards the Phoenix City Skyline.

As you know, my site often contains outdoor photos of sunsets, cactus, flowers, insects, and animals.

My husband keeps telling me to add more photos of the great nightlife and activities and architecture so I will try to do that more, but outdoors at sunset in the desert is my favorite.
